cleaning coins in corn cob

Wow! I guess not until the bits of corn cob get dirty. I always just tumble my coins sometimes dry/ sometimes wet in my tumbler, then give them a good rinse. I don't add medium anymore, as the coins rubbing against each other does a fine job for the clad. Does your vibrating system handle a lot of coins with no medium? I would suggest you use the corn cob medium for a final polish only on silver or copper keepers. Try just using sand as a medium. That medium you are using isn't cheap......at least up here.
