cleaning coil

can I carefully clean my coil with denatured alcohol cloth, got some chewing gum stock on the epoxy filled side. (didnt use coil cover that day)

or will it dissolve the epoxy ?

better safe than sorry
 
Jacob ive used denatured alcohol before on my coils it evaporates so fast it wouldn't have time to damage anything iam sure if you use it- it be fine also you can try mineral spirits to . Jim
