Cleaning Clad

Fella's,
Speaking of clad coins, has anyone tried walnut shell media in a cartridge vibrator to clean them??? mine does a number on any brass or nickel rifle and pistol shell casings i toss in there..... Just wondering if anyone has tried???

walnut, pecan, tank gravel.... about anything works on clad. You just need it clean enough to recirculate it. I prefer the walnut shells over gravel if im working with coins such as wheats... a little more gentle.

I tried using my cartridge vibrator using walnut shells, wasn't happy with the results. I now use a tumbler with gravel and dish soap with much better results.

thanks fellas, any brand of dish soap?? we only use Dawn here at the house, seems to work better than the rest...
