Cleaning Clad

Indy

New member
I'm about to turn in some clad coins into the bank or coin star machine. What do you use to clean your clad coins ?

Tumbler soap water gravel little bit of sand. I just finished cleaning and cashing in over 300.00 worth myself.

Very similar to phinbolt - tumbler-aquarium gravel-bit of detergent and water. Usually does a good job within 24 to 36 hours. DON'T TUMBLE PENNIES WITH THE CLAD! To do so will give you copper colored coins.

I also use the tumbler method. For sure makse a big difference. Good luck to you cashing them in, Beale.
