Cleaned my sensor for the first time today.

This was a first and difficult time for me. I have read all the things about cleaning the sensor so I gave it a try. I have pic pads and Eclips. I first tried water and picpad and it would not clean it proper. Then I use Exlips. This did fair but had one spot that would not clean off. Then I used Goo Gone and it took of the spot but left a smeat. Then I recleaned with Eclips and pic pad and now it's clean as a whistle... I calle Souther Photo and they were going to charge me 50 bucks to clean it and I didn't feel like going deer hunting. :) I'm proud that I was able to do this myself and no that now I can keep my sensor clean.. Still waiting for the D200 to come back in stock. I hope to have one by May. RM look out. :)

Tom,

You'll never go back after using the D200.
I'll be shooting all day on Thursday with it.
I'll keep you and others here posted if I get into any problems with it.

Thank's RM... I talked with the owner at Souther Photo in November and ask him to put me on his list. Today when I called I ask about the D200 and he ask if I was on his list. I said yes, he checked and told me he had got a few in and he will let me know when more arrive but I could tell I still wouldn't be next. I ask what allowance for my D70 and he couldn't give me a answer but ask me to bring it in and leave it over night and he would let me know. I think I will just sell it on E-bay and try to get as much as I can. If I hadn't just bought the Bigma I would buy the D200 off E-bay. I'm getting a little excited about it.
I meet a man Saturday with the D2x and Nikon 500mm f4 and he looked down on my Bigma but told me he has a website on PBASE so I did a search on the lens and found his web site. The man is well known in this area but I was more than dissapointed in his pictures. I think my Bigma is doing as well and I know the lens he has is much better. His web site is http://www.pbase.com/charlie_corbeil/viera_wetlands

I can just dream what the Bigma and the D200 will do.
Again thank's
