Clean sweep on a sand shark?

VBDave

New member
I've run a Sand Shark on local beaches for about a year. I've split evenly between sand and surf and decided that I enjoy wet/dry sand hunting more than being beat down by the surf. That's made me think about the humongus Clean Sweep coil that Tesoro offers for the Shark. Does anyone have experience with this as it compares to the standard Sand Shark coil? Thanks!

Its also a bit heavy. A lot of guys mount it "backwards" so that the heavier part of the coil is towards you, that helps with the balance a bit more.

The coverage you get with this coil quickly covers the beach. While not as deep as the standard coil, the coverage more than makes up for it. I don't think it is as heavy as the ten inch coil. It pinpoints easy off the front of back of the coil.
