Clean sweep for DeLeon

Anyone using the CSC on The DeLeon If so how do you like it? How Is it on gold rings? I am considering getting one for next year.

Used CSC on Cortez, worked great. Used on Silver Sabre and Silver, worked great. Should be using it on a Golden soon. I have found many rings with the CSC this year. One particularly small gold ring. Finds .177 pellets and split shot weights all the time. The smaller the less depth of course, but CSC hits on gold loud and clear in my experience, and DeLeon should be no exception. Just gotta go where the gold is, set DISC as low as possible, and dig all repeatable signals. If gold is in range it will let you know.

diggler...Is the DeLeon a 4 pin or 5 pin coil connection?

Thanks allcav...I just recently bought the 4-pin CleanSweep for my Tejon and 5-pin for my Troy Shadow...

cowtownkid how did the CSC go on the Tejon?

AJ, I have only been able to use it once since getting it...It sure seems to have more depth than my Troy Shadow X2 with the CleanSweep, no EMI problems or GB problems at all. The setup ran very smooth and I can sure cover a lot of ground quickly...I should be able to get out with the Tejon this Labor Day Weekend

thanks cowtownkid

i only used mine once too on a spot i have flogged and it pulled out some coins on edge 4 or 5ins down which was great but sounded off on every little piece of can and foil found it very taxing but am sure with practice it will get easier?

you using it in junky sites ?

AJ

I try not to... The multiple targets The CleanSweep will pick up would drive me nuts...The one time I took it out, I used it on the Tejon with the primary discrimination set just enought to accept nickels and the alternate where it will just "clip" on zinc. Diggler uses his Silver Umax with disc. set just above iron if the site is not to trashy and has had great results this summer.

nuts is a great way to put it for sure super sensitive machine the Tejon maybe the CSC on sites not so junky is the go? :)

well good luck out there and thanks for your thoughts :clapping:

We have been hitting a local lake that is at its lowest level ever recorded...Once we get past the "pull-tab" zone, the area is fairly clean and the CleanSweeps work great. Today I am taking my Tek G2 and Tejon W/CS and see what we can find.

Good Luck!

sounds like a good spot, good luck :clapping: have a Gold Bug Pro great machine if there's anything there with those 2 you should have them covered sounds like a fun day!
