was wanting to know if they are any good and what the draw backs are.....
thanks rich

but its not real deep. I used mine for parking lots, soccer fields, baseball diamonds and places like that. My Max depth on My Goldon with a manual G/B was about 5in.it actually works fairly well in the trash too. Its very easy to pin point. It does get a little hvy and 1.8 lbs... BUt I think its worth it.
Hope this helps... Happy Hunting.

It`s my favorite coil for any area with a lot of ground to cover and when targets will be less than 6" deep. And yes I have dug dimes at 6" and it is sensitive I have got 2 dimes on edge at 3".
This is is on my Eldorado Umax.
The trick to dealing with the weight is to never pick it up, just let it skim over the surface.
Won`t go anywhere without it!

The Cleansweep Coil (CSC) is an 18" x 3.6" coil. It weighs 1.8 pounds. It is hot from tip to heel, so ground coverage is fast. The depth on the CSC is up to 7 inches on coins in ideal conditions.
I mounted the CSC on my Cort

He covered it pretty good. There is one more drawback though. If you are beach detecting, the top of the coil holds sand, thus increasing the weight. I mainly beach hunt with mine on my Stingray II and man does it cover some ground. All in all though, this is a great coil. G'luck Kieth-Tx
