CLASSROOM FORUM?

Am I the only one that thinks this section should be for usage instruction, techniques, research, service discussion, etc. And the pictures of "dug up stuff" should be in the general Fisher forum? Any moderators agree, or am I alone here :)

Moderator's feel free to redirect my post to the fisher forum if it offends anyone. I am used to posting on other forums. Didn't realize this was just a question answer type forum. Could be why there wasn't any pictures posted in here. Just thought no one had any cameras??

You can always backread but that takes time even if you have to do a search. Seems it is hard to find an F-75 post on the Fisher forum as most of the users have been posting here. It would also make good sense to put all F-75 posts together.

What we need is a FAQFAQ sticky similar to what BarnacleBill has over at the Minelab X-Terra Forum: http://www.findmall.com/list.php?55

We've had lots of good posts here from Streak!, Scully, Bill Ladd, DanielT, JimTn and so many other helpful detectorists. I hope someone who has the time and capability volunteers to put all these posts together.

and make a list of the post like what was done on the X-Terra Forum, I will see that it get's pined to the top of the page.

Set it up the way it's done there, drop me a PM, and I'll take it from there.

we always have posted that here as folks like to see what's being found.....might ask about settings, etc. We don't want to designate things too much with rules as too what needs to be where. Sometimes I use the general fisher forum for stuff, sometimes this one, or both.....we like to encourage all kinds of differnt posts.
HH,
Bill

I think we should be able to post pics on here. For some newcomers, pictures show potential finds they can make and might encourage them to get out more. Without pictures, it might seem too "technical" and what's a classroom without visual aids? Ron

excellent idea!..perhaps you might want to take the initiative!

I myself like seeing the Great finds here in the F75 forum...Along with the settings, this machine is soo sensitive and can be a Hot-Rod to use with its performance and speed...It seems like the Fisher
forum is always Busy Busy with all the current newer machines being released.... james

I like to post pictures of what I am finding with my F75. That way when guys and gals ask me what settings i am using you can also see what I am finding with those settings. This machine is so sensitive. The only gripe I am having with the F75 is that when I try using my Vibra-Probe 570 with it it goes nuts. I was wondering does the Sun Ray Probe cause the same interference problems? If it doesn't I am gonna pick one up soon. I love my Vibra Probe, but it works better with my Ace 250 than with my F75.

I use the Sun Ray probe and have absolutely no problems. I love the way you can use it in discrim mode. It really doesn't add weight either. For someone that doesn't see the greatest, it is a great piece of equipment.

hmmm... I guess I'm used to the Explorer classroom where it's all learning, settings, technical discoveries, questions about operation, etc. It's tough to find pics there, but in the Explorer general thread, there's tons of 'em. For me there's as much fun mastering the machine as finding stuff. Maybe we need an F-Series forum like the CZ forum where we can brag about finds. That way the classroom will be a classroom. Why do I feel like I'm in the minority here?

I don't know if you are exactly "in the minority here", but over the past 18 months or so, much has been posted on all aspects of the F 75 and no doubt, such posts will continue in the weeks and months ahead. Check some of the older threads and if you have any questions, you will get responses. HH jim tn
