Classic SL W/ Mr Bill mods. on Relic Hunting

Got up with Va Beach Max and went hunting for relics about 10 Minutes from my house. This was the first relic hunting I have done with the Classic. Had what I consider outstanding success. The first picture is from the 10th and the second pictures are from the 11th. Here is my loot from the two lunchtime hunts. We only hunted until Max had to go back to work. You know how trying to detect on a lunch hour are. Too much to do and too little time. Max is a great guy sharing this site with me. We had a great time hunting together.

looks like you found the battle ground. I have found round bullets from the Mexican American war 1846. I just don't know where i put them. Those were over a foot deep behind a large bolder on a mountainside close to a war monument to that war. How deep were you digging those relics. I plan to track a route used by a regiment of U.S. Dragoons on a famous attack on the Mexican Lancers here soon.

Most of them were 8 to 11 inches deep. It was hard recovering them using only my Lesche digging tool. Going to have to get me a relic shovel if I keep this up.
