Classic III SL ?

I am getting a modified Classic III SL soon. Was wondering if you that have one would say which coil you think would be the better all around coil on it, the 9.5" or a Blue Max 800? Mostly hunting parks and schools for coins and jewelry with an occasional foray to the Oregon beach. I am trying to find either a Bullseye 5.3" or Shooter 4"x6" coil for it too. Thanks for any info.

The 950 or 800 are for more open, less trashy areas, the 5.3 Bullseye is for trashy areas, the 4"X 6" has no depth. If the trash gets bad, then the Blue Max 350 is the way to go. I keep a 5.3 BullsEye mounted on my IDX Pro full time, it's just a great all around coil.

Hombre, I am trying to find a Bullseye 5.3" but they seem to be hard to come by. The machine is coming with the 9.5" coil but i have an Eagle Spectrum coming too that has both the 9.5" and a Blue Max 800. I plan to sell the Eagle so figured if the 800 was a better All Around coil i would keep it and sell the extra 9.5". If there isn't much difference i may as well keep the 9.5" thats on it and just try to find the 5.3" or maybe the Blue Max 350. Thanks for the reply.

White's still has the 5.3 BullsEye in their lineup, so if you really wanted one, you could order it new from a dealer. It is my favorite coil for the Classic series, the Blue Max 350 is more of a specialty coil for dense trash, it is a 4

Thanks Hombre. I just missed one of the Blue Max 600 coils here in the classifieds. There is a 4x6 still but if it gets No Depth i guess i will pass on it.
