Got a little cash for Christmas, been looking at getting a second machine one the wife could use and also as a backup machine, I have been a fan of whites, I have 6000 Pro Xl that I have been using for years now, lots of good finds, Been looking at ether the Classic 5 or the Ace250 I know this is a whites forum but I haven't got to much feed back on the classic from other forums and thought someone here could shed some lite, I need a machine that would be easy for the wife to use main concern is the ease of Audio tones from good and bad targets. Most hunting will be Parks and beaches, if you can help with choice between the two machines would be appreciated.

The Classic 5 is a special detector made just for Kellyco. It runs at the Prizm's 8.3 kHz frequency. There are no small coils at this time for the 8.3 kHz. If you buy a used classic ID, IDX or IDX pro then your 6000 coils will interchange with it. I really can't comment on the Garrett here on the Whites forum. Try asking the same question on the general forum.
