Classic 5 question?

Anyone use a classic 5? Are there any small coils for it?
How was it to use?
Thanksfor any info.

It was about 5 years ago I got the Classic 5-ID and, at that time, the "standard" coil was the thin-profile 8". Since then it went to the 950 and now the 9" spider type coil is standard.

About the time I was finishing up my evaluation I got my modified IDX Pro back and my good friends, Chris & Aundrea, decided to buy the Classic 5-ID since Chris could then hunt close to Aundrea with her Classic ID. (See attached photo of hos close they can hunt in a ghost town).

Here is a clip from my field test report that's listed on the Kellyco website for the Classic 5-ID. The photo with that report shows the coins I found (listed below) over about a six-hour period, including driving time.

To give you a better view of the coins I recovered with my new Classic 5-ID, you can see them in an attached photo:
39 Quarters
53 Dimes
15 Nickels
140 Pennies.

This photo shows that these 247 coins still need to be cleaned, but when they are I will have another $17.20 to add to this month's total

The Classic 5-ID is basically just a Classic ID with a little front-end change so it operates at the Prizm series frequency. Chris prefers the 8" coil for most detecting and it was used to find about half the silver coins he found last year.

I presently live in Hillsboro. If you have any questions I might be able to assist with, feel welcome to drop me an E-mail: MonteVB@comcast.net
