Class ring found and returned to stranger

What started out as a hobby between two friends in their home-town of Jackson, Ohio-- turned into a mission after they found a class ring that belonged to a man who lives in Virginia.

Thanks, those flags are flying above my house and I have bowl on my front porch that I leave unsalted peanuts for several Chipmunks hanging around the house.

KindManTall.....If you look up high school year books (in general) on the net there are a couple sites that have tons and tons of photos. Im assuming there is a school name and hopefully initials of the owner on the ring. It might take a bit to narrow it all down but it can be done. Example: Whoopi-do high school in (state). Find photos for that school for that year, look up people with last name (initial) and see if full name matches. Also, that era usually has someone running a web page about the class and can be contacted to get a current email for that person. Hopefully thats clear as mud....

Also, if there is a school name; try the Alumni Club.
Both of these strategies came through a few weeks later for a ring I found back when.

Nice my friend and I have both returned a lost class ring lost 40 years ago lady still lived in the town where he found it.
I found a ID bracelet lost 52 years on a beach which the man family and my Moms knew each other He is a doctor now that story made the local news !
