Here is a costume idea for all you Ace 250 Users. Warning this procedure is not easily reversed.

Step 1. Remove the coil nut assembly and coil. Replace the coil in the reverse position and reinstall the coil hardware.

Step 2. Remove the two screws holding the electronics assembly to the shaft and replace them with 1 3/4 inch drywall screws. These can be purchased at any hardware store and must be galvanized steel for this to work.

Step 3. Using a blowtorch, heat the top of the shaft to over 1000 degrees Fahrenheit and bend in a semi circle toward the foam handle. Do NOT over bend. Take care not to damage the Velcro on the arm band.

Here is what your detector should look like if you followed these steps carefully:
