Vernon in Virginia~Formerly Alaska

Well we've had a busy 3 weeks; company from Alaska~ still here, trying to sell the house on top of that, "Ol' Green" Ford van kicked the bucket so we had to replace it as we just really need the room of a conversion van for ease of transport, and they are so roomy and comfortable - you're not squeezed in and bent over in some mini-wannabe van. Well, Sharon wanted to get a newer van with down payment and payments. If you've all priced a relatively new conversion van, they run anywhere from $15,000 to $30,000. I was looking on the Internet and I found this one in a little town in Virginia just north of North Carolina. Private seller, one owner van. You all check the pictures out below. It's a 1989 Dodge Ram 250 Conversion van. It's already an antique but look at the shape it's in. This van is pristine inside and out. Had 86,000 miles on it and a 318 engine (one of Dodge's best). We went last night and picked it up and drove it back. Nearly 2 1/2 hour drive one way. What surprised me was the gas gauge needle hardly moved the whole time I was driving back, I thought the gas gauge was broken. The guy said it gets 19 mpg. Anyway, I got it for a song and dance practically, compared to what I could have spent for one. It's an oldy but a goody... a survivor. Thanks for looking.
