CLADDAGH 925 SILVER RING

Goldstrike

Well-known member
It's been slim pickin's recently apart from a huge 14K gold ring I detected 2 weeks ago which I was happy to detect and which you'll find in a previous post. Apart from the usual coins, assorted jewellery (nothing really special) I did get this Claddagh ring off a beach which is an Irish ring given as a token of love or worn as a wedding ring with origins and the design dating from the 17th Century. They were also, and still are made in gold! but this one is just 925 silver.

I have been lucky enough to find several of those
Claddagh rings in both gold and silver and never
get tired of looking at them. Yours is a beauty too....
congrats on a nice find. Gold Nuggets :wiggle:
