I got out for a couple hours Saturday afternoon, until the skitters asserted theirselves and I had to leave. I found 3 dimes, I nickel and 13 pennies, all clad. I thought I had a silver dime, but it was a 1965. I thought I had found some jewelry, but it turned out to be part of a key ring. The oldest penny I found was a 1968 D and no wheats. It was great for my morale and the river is supposed to be lowered 3-4 feet in the next week or so and I hope to get out in the shallow water and find something special. Happy hunting everybody. I can't upoad an photos at the public library, but hope to get some internet at the house by the end of this month. I just couldn't stand dial-up anymore and if I used an air card from Verizon and watched any you tube videos it would be too expensive. It doesn't take many videos to exceed their data limit and then it's $10.00 per GB and that's just outrageous. Exede had a great deal about a month ago and my brother changed his satellite service to them and he's very happy. I just didn't have the money when they offered the deal. I like living in the country, but you sure can't get high speed internet without a lot of hassle.
