Clad, a dinky and ring #1 for 2008

had the afternoon off today. Even though most of the ground is still covered with snow, and the wind didn't stop howling I just had to get out for a dig. I hit an Edmonton park with a sunny south facing slope and a tot lot that was starting to thaw. Here's my take for the 2 hour hunt, about half came from the grassy hill and the rest from the semi-frozen sand in the playground. I grabbed a little over $6 and a nice silver band.

The tot lot gave up a cool dinky too.

The silver band is marked 925 "Mexico".

Ring #1 for 2008, came off the hill about 1 1/2" deep, way too big for my fingers but I like it.

Get your share.

Well done just getting out Craig,
That looks a nice satisfying haul for a short hunt.
Yep, I'd be pleased with that lot.
