Civil War Union Army Campsite

I found a small Union Army campsite in the woods this week and was able to dig a few nice relics from there. I'm sure there's a lot more there to be found but it's tough getting in through all the growth. HH David

Really like the"I" infantry buttons. Hopefully your site will give up more.

Thanks Dale! I sure would love to dig a plate. That's a big one on my list of want to find. HH

Thanks utmike! I was very happy to see the I on the Infantry button when I cleaned it up. I hope to get a few more keepers from there as well.

Dave, congrats on finding the CW site. Nice collection of artifacts. Hope to see more from that spot in the near future.

Looks like a great site with a lot of potential - good luck on your return hunts Dave !

Like those military buttons from the CW period. The two minie balls looked dropped, not fired.
Nice job, nice site you got there.

Really neat looking stuff. Wish I could find a mini-ball. That's on my wish list. Not many of 'em in Nebraska. Thanks for the picture.
