A few friends and I got together today and went metal detecting. We made a few Civil War Relic finds at an old battlefield site. Thanks for looking and appreciate everyone's comments. CCH

Excellent EJ ........

Cajuncoinhunter, Thank you for posting your relic hunts. I have learned so much from watching your hunts. I'm sad to say I discarded a toe plate before I learned what it was. I have learned to hold on to what i find and do the research. Thank you for educating us. P.s. I was lucky enough to find a second one which is cherished and in my collection.

tomtomnc,

Thanks very much for your comments. I have learned not to throw anything old / brass etc away. Put it in an old bucket and one day you may see it posted or for sale or on a video and realize that you've got a civil war relic on your hands. Like you, i discarded an item before. !!! Good luck. CCH.

Your videos are fantastic... You have no idea how much I appreciate seeing your hunts.

Mr. Elton,

Thank you for your kind comments. I love detecting and making the videos just comes with the territory now. BUT - its a lot of work making those things and I dont think that some people understand how much. Anyway, I enjoy it and i appreciate that fact that you do to. Thanks. CCH
