Found 7 civil war bullets in the past couple of days with my compadre, one of them appears to be from a sniper rifle.another one of the bullets was actually half way out of the sand exposed. It may not be a big deal but boy it sure got me fired up as I have not ever found anything like this before.

it looks like youmay have a whitworth bullet there...if so it's excellent and rare find..
 
is that bullet round by chance? If, it might be a Kerr Rife !!!!
