Civil war relics

I went relic hunting today. I found some dropped Minnie's & a field cast round ball. The round ball has a lot of lead around the seam that wasn't cut off. My CZ-3D really likes lead.:fisher:
 
Those are really cool. Did you find those up North?

I was finding them around 10" at the camp we are in now. The ground is pretty good & very little emi.
 
Man that's some good hunting grounds you been hunting!! I have several spots here in Georgia I hunt and they usually only produce one to two bullets a hunt! Have you ever found one of the French Confederate bullets that have the triangle cut out in the bottom I think their .69 caliber I found one of those a couple weeks ago that was dropped it was about 8" down.
 
No, Never got one of those. I would love to though. I have dug .69cal three ringers. They are as big a my thumb. I would not wanted to get hit by one of those. Just think they shot them at people!:surprised:
