Here's a couple of relics i found and the yard i found them in , officers infantry button and the name badge from the same man. james hill built the house in 1856 , moved back after the war and was very important in our town, cascade iowa , medal of honor winner , google james hill chaplin medal of honor winner civil war and get the whole story , i know the people that own the house now , should be some more goodies there .
 
Wow, I'd give my eye teeth to be able to detect that spot. Congrats on the great finds.:thumbup:
