Civil War hunt.........

Went with some friends to Virginia to hunt CW relics. I got several varieties of bullets, a nice early flat button, a cannon ball frag, a lead band from an artillery round and several misc items. The RR train spring was 18" deep in wet clay. Sure was a job getting it out of the ground, and heavy too. Sure had fun.

Congrats on the finds. Jelly that you got to go swinging for CW stuff.

Those are some great finds. I sure didn’t get to detect this winter like I wanted. No the fields will be getting tall grass again.
