HI, all:
Got to rehunt an area of a Civil War era ghost town I hunted extensively last Fall, Winter and Spring. The area is literally carpeted with nails. Using the Deeptech Vista Gold metal detector, which is the best machine I've ever used in iron infested areas. Spent four hours and pulled several non ferrous relics without digging ANY nails. On top is part of a small spur. Below that is three Civil War bullets and a couple of brass rivets. Below that, on the left is a lead acorn decoration, a couple of pieces of harmonica reed and part of a suspender buckle with the letter "S", followed by a heart shaped logo, and then a letter "T" and another letter "S". Below that is three parts to a lantern flanked by two small brass washers. The Vista Gold is really sensitive to small non ferrous items.
Thanks for looking and keep on diggin'
