Civil war finds

I went out today with my friend Richard from backwoods detectors and hunted in the snow. I found 2 pistol balls and several firsts for me. My first J hook, knapsack rivet, and a Spencer cartridge. Thanks for the great hunt Richard. I also met 2 new friends who were trying out their new detectors. I believe a williams cleaner was found by one of the brothers. Great fun had by all.
HH,
Paul

Nice finds Paul, especially in the snow was the ground frozen hard?

Great finds there. Question.......Is the "pistol ball" the same as a musket ball? Size, etc.? I've found two balls and one is much bigger than the other. Sorry, had to do that. But you know what I mean. Thanks and HH to all, Nancy

I wish I was in an area to hunt for Civil War relics. Nice finds. HH Dennis in Idaho
