Civil War Dog Tag

Thought I would share a find that I made while Relic Hunting in Suffolk. It is a Civil War dog tag lost by Edward McEvoy, Union Soldier, Co. E, 96th Regiment, N.Y. Volunteers. I also posted the find on metaldetectingforum.com. The fine detector users helped me research my find. This is what makes the hobby so great. I am so excited about the find, I can't wait to dig the next "target". Good hunting to all !!!!
