Hello, I have recently started metal detecting some of the back river banks in NE Florida,
I was out yesterday and dug up a Civil war button, another metallic button, and found
near one of the buttons was small piece of a Civil war clay pipe, all found within a 15 ft area. ...
these are my very first real finds other than pennies in the driveway ...
needless to say i am very excited and ready to get back out ...
( no letter in shield of button 1 , bars and stripes )
