Civil War Button?

Found this in Newport, RI this morning...it's 5/8" in diameter...seems like a cuff button. The reverse says, "Horstmann Bros. & Co. Phil." This website says it may be from 1859-1863...http://pw1.netcom.com/~jimyce/bm.html#H ...

Anybody think it's authentic?

It's a "chicken head" eagle style 1875- 1902, used during the late Indian wars, Span-Am war etc. Cool find!
