Civil War Bullets

Lots of nice bullets there. I've found only one and it was flattened and had a hole in the top near the point. I guess they were wearing on a necklace??? Isn't it something how heavy those things are. NICE and thanks for sharing. I'm getting so excited about hunting this year. It's cold and muddy today and it's suppose to snow tonight. :veryangry: HH to all, Nancy

Nancy, I live near Columbus Park K.Y. Some of my family lives in columbus so I have a good spot. If it not under the coil your not going to find it. Thanks. P.S. there is no hunting in the Park.

There was a Civil War Camp in Peoria and many of our detecting club members have found the three ring mini-balls there and our Club Pres has found many many bullets there. I am not into the so called "forest" hunting. I'm too scared of snakes! I prefer hunting in private yards, parks, playgrounds, etc. So for me, it was quite a surprising find. I love the assortment you've found. Those are awesome. Thanks, Nancy

this time of year is great for forest hunting. the snakes are hibernating and the ground doesn't freeze as quickly as open ground.

Meditate on this - If you had been there when most of those things stopped, they would have been coming at your personal body at roughly 600 miles per hour. Have a nice day!

But if he walked in front of me, wouldn't HE be finding all the goodies? I just can't win. That's OK, I really dislike those creepy crawling things. Now when I go mushroom hunting, I carry a big stick! HH to all, Nancy
