I got out to a field today & found some civil war bullets. It's hard this time of the year to get in fields.
 
Very nice.
And yes, it is hard to dig this time of year.
Hot, Humid, Bugs and hard dirt.

If you don't mind me asking?
What detector were you using and what part of the country?
