Civil War Bullet?

Appears to be a miniball, allso appears as if it struck a semisolid on impact. You might have a bullet that actually impacted a human in the arm, leg and exited. You can tell from the splay that it is distorted and malled. Where found?

I oud it heading up a hill in Taunton, MA. I doubt it impacted a human as I don't think there were any battles around here. I'm guessing someone just shot it into the hill for practice or accidental discharge. So it does look like it's from the civil war era?
