circuitry cortes/deleon

hellow, fellow tesorohunters,
i would like to purchase a deleon or a cortes, bur dont like nor need the display. also: i like ground balancing but my type of hunting provokes shifting of the toggles frequently. so: is there a tesoro, that has the same circuitry of deleon/cortes, but no display or groundbalancing?

I think it is the same circuitry as the deleon/cortes.

The Deleon and the Cortez have a FIXED G/B... not Auto. It won't work properly in some area's and soil. If you have changing siols than you really need a manual G/B.
The only other Tesoro I would recamend would be the LST.... I believe that has an auto tracking.
If you can't learn to G/B or you are to lazy then you need an AUTO balance machine like a Whites, some Fishers or Minelab.
Good Luck

Before you decide on what machine to buy, read my post on the Tesoro forum concerning the Cortez and gold rings>

in the All Metal or Pinpoint mode, such as the Lobo SuperTRAQ. It relies on a factory preset GB for the Disc. mode.
You're quite right about the Cortés and DeLeón having problems in some locations. Here where I am the ground mineral is downright nasty in too many locations! Manual GB or autotracking for the Disc. mode operation is almost a must .... unless you have a very good 'functional' GB.
