i use a cibola and a vaquero down here in austin texas and they go deeep, it eats old square nails for breakfast at old home sites. i had the low tone was ok now i have the high tone it kicks butt, they love coins, both of these machines is a grand slam home run for tesoro they are the best, very quite in trash, you think the detectors turned off but its doing its job thank you tesoro rock on.

Thanks Randy. That's music to my ears. :clapping:
I located a Vaq and will likely get it to replace my little SSumax.
I guess it'll have to go on ebay!:smoke:
Ive wanted one of the GB units for- well, a long time. Looks like it just may happen.

With fingers crossed,
David

Lots of good information.:thumbup:I am in Germany for one more year and there is alot of stuff deep here.I have had good luck with my other two detectors .The CZ5 has real good depth and has good balance but tiny nails can fool the detector sometimes. I have dug tiny pieces of nails up at a foot deep. The Id Excel is great in trashy areas! The main draw back is it don't have the depth of the CZ. It does have pretty good depth but I hate to leave stuff behind. I have found alot of stuff that would have been masked by iron with a lot of detectors. The cibola is looking real good! I am a turn on and go type so this machine seems just right.Money is kinda tight with the holidays so maybe a good deal will come along on a used one. I have about 20 play station 2 games I would trade for a used cibola if any one has kids into them. Sounds like the cibola is a winner ,thanks for all the information and happy holidays.:usaf:
