Just wanted to comment on the cibola I got a few days ago, saturday I went to a old homesite pulled 1 standing Lib qtr,3 merc's and 8 wheats in just a little while. this is the first tesoro I have ever owned and I have to say I am impressed with the depth and disc.of this detector wading thru the trash/nails etc. may have to try the tejon next HH joseph

the more you use it, the more you will like it! I found part of a button the size of a BB. It was as deep as the top of my Lesche Predator digger!

I too think the Cibola is a awesome machine. Very light so you can use it for hours and not be tired of swinging it. It will go deep too. Good luck with it and HH.

Thanks It's always good when you can find something worth while after a day of hunting All the coins were found using the 5.75 coil.a couple of the coins found had solid tone at about 6 inches with a lot left on the threshold and sens. settings I am guessing 10-12 inches is not out of the question?? with this detector I may send it back to tesoro a little later on for the high tone mod everyone on the forum seems to think it is better than the low tone. also is the larger widescan coil a good accessory for the cibola thanks HH joseph

The Cibola was my first Tesoro - didn't take me long to really like it - but more Tesoro's ended up finding my home. I mostly stick to the 5.75 coil for trashy areas.
