Cibola & Vaquero

Smudge

New member
Aside form the fact that one has manual ground balance and the other does not, are there any other significant differences betwene the two.

I have looked at the specs of both machines and cannot find any, so I thought I'd ask the users.

I have owned a Cibola, but never a Vaquero.

Very good question Smudge, I would like to know the answer to that one myself.

Specificly I would like to know if the Vaquero has a depth advantage over the Cibola head to head in the same soil conditions.

I currently use the Cibola.

Robert has already answered this, and besides the g/b there is no difference. What I DO find interesting is the g/b apparently changes when the frequency switch is changed. Some have claimed to get their g/b settings almost spot-on for their areas by selecting a different frequency. I would like to know if any who have tried this have noticed any depth or performance increase.

I personally have not noticed a difference in depth. Once its ground balanced in any of the frequencies it seems to react the same.
