Cibola tone id

Circuit design does not allow it.
Only model that had that ability is no longer made.................

Basically there are no circuitry change mods you can do to a Tesoro.
Most mods are only replacing an on board trimpot with an external control pot
or switching out a push button switch with a toggle switch. Or the possibility of adding a frequency
switch.

Since Tesoros use very small SMT parts, it's beyond the average person's ability to replace the parts.

I have a question what does the sticker cibola 1.0 then on the circuit board HOT 1.1 mean?

anyone know?

thanks!

AJ

The sticker shows the software version programmed into the chip,
the writing on the pcb shows the pcb version.
Makes it easy to figure out what the parts are made/programmed for.

so there are different modal updates ? like gold bug pro or omega 8000 versions?

AJ

No there is not.
Only some Cibola's and Vaquaro' s at one point could have the tone changed from the standard tone to a high tone.
Otherwise circuitry is the same.
The Eldorado IC Chip was used in many models. Cibola chip is for Cibola.............
