I have seen this detector modified where the pinpoint button was removed and a 10 turn was inserted. On the bottom of the control box there is a switch...What is it for...
 
It takes the detector from discrimination mode to all metal. It is also used to pinpoint your target.
 
yes, when you pull back on the switch, goes into all metal mode/pinpoint. like a tejon. i have seen photos where some have moved the pinpoint button to the upper right of the faceplate. the trigger switch, i think, would be better for use.
