Cibola Question

Hi folks, as most of you know I have been swinging Tesoro detectors for along time. Been using the older Tesoro's lately such as the Silver Sabre,Cutlass, etc. I have a new Cibola ordered, I am wondering if it will be as good as the older Tesoro's I had were at hitting the smaller jewelry. Thanks! Steve.

Steve it will hit as hard or harder on small gold then the older ones(minus the Lobo, cant say about that as Ive never used one). I only got rid of my Cibola because I wanted the GB feature.

HH
Neil

I got rid of mine for the same reason Neil did, would love to have another, I can't speak on gold:cry: but it hits hard on very small lo conductive objects.

Well this is something tiny that we found with the Cibola. It was found at the beach and it is a small 14K Gold Heart charm along with several rings and toe rings(both gold and silver). This was found with a cibola we bought from Jharhed a few months ago. Thanks for the wonderful detector Jharhed!!!

Shouldn't be much different than my Vaq if the soil is mild. Small brass brads(tacks), tiny pieces of foil(1/4" dia and less), at 7-8+ inches. Dug a clad dime at a measured 10.5". You'll love it.

well skiwhiz, i don't know much about the older tesoro models, but i do know for sure that the cibola will hit hard on small deep low or high conductive targets. i did recover a large cent at a measured 13", and civil war bullets at around a foot deep. i also recovered a very small brass acorn for a necklace at 10" deep. i think you'll be very happy with your cibola, like i am with mine.
i recently bought the tejon, only because i wanted the gb ability. the cibola ain't going anywhere! hh!

Are second to none when it comes to gold jewelry ought to cover it all...just the nature of the beast and all units have their plus and minus features...
