cibola question

snoop & scoop

New member
I had a Deleon, but noticed that I did not pay much attention to the screen readout. Went mostly by sound. Had to sell due to hard times. Am now thinking about a Cibola. Will I notice much preformance difference between the Deleon and the Cibola? Thanks.

Have not used a Deleon so can't compare ... but in my humble opinion, the Cibola is a very good detector.

I have a D and had a cibola, I tended to pick up the C first, its a real hot detector, 37' wheat penny at 8 inches. I really miss it and am considering buying another. That screen will confuse the hell out of you, and I liked the discrimination more on the cibola.

I have owned both, they are very similar in operation and setup, the Cibola was a better performer.

Both are good machines.

You must be running in super tune because I've never found a coin that deep with my cibola. I have found ton's of excellent find's with it though.
