I've been using my Cibola for over a year,it's a great machine.I usually pinpoint by X-ing the target and dig.I was in my test garden with various coins at different depths from 2-8" and decided to really try out the pinpoint without using my usual X method. With the threshold at 2 o-clock with a slight steady hum, sensitivity on max and disc a tad past iron,I noticed on my shallow targets of 2-4" with the pinpoint pressed and passed over the target the threshold hum would change to a higher pitch at the center of the coil as I would expect it to do,now on my deeper 5-8" targets with no change in initial settings I would get a good response signal "beep" but very little if no change in the threshold hum with the pinpoint pressed making it difficult to pinpoint deeper targets using my pinpoint button,is this normal on the Cibola detectors? Thanks
