Cibola pinpoint question

Kinda new to Tesoro and am looking into the Cibola. Is the pinpoint button a momentary switch or is it an on/off switch? Thanx....
 
As stated, it is momentary - but the Cibola I found when "X"ing a target, it is clean that I didn't use the pinpoint button. Just visualize the spot during the sweeps and you'll find the response is fast. Worked for me anyway.
 
Thanx for the info guys. I'm really thinking of adding this machine to the stable. It sounds like a very fast machine as it is promoted as a competition unit. I am used to the Minelab disc threshold machines so the silent search disc will be a change for me. By all the posts I've read, it looks like a good machine...
 
I agree, the Cibola pinpoints so well by Xing you don't need to pinpoint.

Every Tesoro I've used has been great at pinpointing.
