Cibola on the way!

I have been lurking around ,reading articles and asking people and I can't get any bad info on the Tesoro's.I have had several different types of detectors but no tesoros I have a cibola coming that should be here in a week or so .What can I expect and are these machines as good as they say? I know certain soils can cause problems but I hope those areas are rare. My main machine has been a CZ5. The only draw back to it is it loves iron :shrug:but it does have good performance. I have read that these machines are similar in depth. Looking foward to being a tesoro user. Thanks and HH.:usaf:

Birdman- I think you'll really like the Cibola. It's good and deep, and discs very well. I've used one since they came out, and some of my posts on the relic forum bare witness to what it will do. If you're looking for a complicated, heavy, bells and whistles machine, this ain't it. I haven't found ground it wouldn't hunt in. Just turn the threshold all the way up, sens. as high as possible, and start swinging. Don't really need the pinpoint button. It pinpoints fine in regular hunt mode. I always run disc just above iron. The beep will tell you if it's good or not. Good luck.

Thanks much for the info.!!:beers: We got a foot of snow today:help: so it will be a while before I can do any swinging. I have heard such great stuff about this detector that I am very antsy for a hunt. Thanks and HH :usaf:

I also have decided on a Cibola. I am really anxious to try this machine after all I've heard. Good luck to you when the snow melts!!!( I am also waiting for a thaw)
