Cibola in the carry on luggage

I am flying down to Mexico on monday can my Cibola be in my carry on bag or must it be checked in does anybody know?

I tell you what I know, I know I would call the airport and ask! What with the rules they have now, No way I'd wanna be the guy (person) who finds that out by being a news story on TV. They shut a terminal down and fined the heck out of a guy for running in the airport not long ago.
Yep, I'd spend a quarter and call them folks over at the airport before I sprang anything new on them.

Years ago had a CZ broke down in a bag and in a NJ Casino lounge had a a Casino guard empty the bag while surrounded by security employees. Embarrasing moment for an Ex cop so indeed call ahead lest you find yourself in such a position and perhaps miss a flight...Security is extremely high in these troubled times...

Remove the batteries from it and have the owners manual for it where they can see what it
looks like and you should not have any problem. You might want to have a sales slip showing
when you bought it ( this is more for your return into the U.S. and when leaving Mexico ) to
avoid any problem going through customs. Have a good hunt.

Just flew down to Mexico with my CZ-21, and my Sov. GT. The CZ-21 was in my carry on complete since in cannot be separated, and the box fro the GT was too take the batteries out. The rest was in my checked. No problems.....They know what they are, they are also required to swab them since they have electronics with boards in them. Got the red light in Mexico too......no problems though they were curious.....
