Cibola in comparison to m-6 in the park

Well frends, i must be honest i took the cibola out to the park for my first reall hunt obee i miss the m-6 i was digging evey metal target thear was i could not tell the diff between foil or a coin or a bottle top i should change my name to ,the janitor i cleaned up lots of trash i know whith the m-6 i knew what was in the ground 80/% of the time the tone I.D was great and i had plenty of depth for the park today i did find some coins but i found lots of foil and iron even at its lowest seting the cibola gets deep it was easy to center and light i like the machine dont get me wrong but i will be totaly honest if i was to hunt a park i would whiout hesitation grab the m-6 you know you dont miss things until they are gone then you regret well i made my choice i will be whith the cibola for some time but i got my hopes on a DFX one good thing this cibola will really clean up the park somthing i like to do but i do think and like the cibola to relick hunt it exels in this earea gets really deep i had a good time relicking whith it and in the park it really handled the high trash spots very well even whith the 8x9 stock which is a great coil just thout i would make my opinions known gunnar found 3 nickles two dimes 4 pennys and a french horn pice

Gunner,
I think I told you I went to a Classic 3 from and IDX because I thought by having the TID I was missing targets. I really missed my meter. I would not get a coin and jewelry machine without a meter. I would buy a non metered relic machine. I know that the weight was an issue with the M6. I suggested before the Prizm 2. It's light and is perfect for coin and jewelry. No it's not as deep as the M6. But it will hit a coin at 6+ inches and runs real quiet.

Hi Gunnar , I think if the Cibola was your first machine , and then you changed to the M6 ,you could have appreciated the ease of use of the higher end detector. You had to try the beep dig machine or you would have always been curious, and thats the only way to know for sure. After you use the C for a few months you will have gained some experience that will serve you well in the future , no matter what machine you end up with. Good Luck with the C , I haven't used one , but I had my best success with the Conquistador by digging the fainter signals which usually meant deep targets.....You will get pretty good at guessing what is trash and what is coin, but you will always have to dig to be sure.....Good Luck Again to you gunnar. .HH Rich
