Cibola coil for dry sand

HateTabs

New member
He guys I am going to do some beach (dry sand) hunting this year, was wondering if the 12x10 DD would be worth the investment over the stock coil. I have never used a DD coil but thought it might be worth a try. I know some say you should send the unit in to have it "tuned" to the coil but I have never had a problem. Thanks for any input !:beers:

hat tabs I have used it on the outlaw , and can say its got better coverage, and as good or better depth that the stock., now you are in VA so you may have some black sand on the beach the DD will do better for you that the stock I liked the coil especially out in the ball field it may be a tad bit harder to pin point with but its not badd, its going to be deeper than the clean sweep and still get good coverage

Thanks for the feedback. Did you notice any loss of sensitivity to small gold targets?
