Cibola and 575 coil

Anyone out there with experience with this setup? I think I remember hearing that the Cibola's auto ground balance doesn't work well with the 575 coil. Any truth to that?

Any ground that the stock coil works well in the 5.75 will too. Any ground that the stock coil doesn't work well in, the 5.75 will probably do better due to its smaller footprint--sees less ground. I use the 5.75 on my Cibola often and it does very well.

You might want to sent it in to the factory to have it balanced to your machine. They balance the coils before leaving the factory. It will still work without having this adjustment, but it might not be optimum. You dont have to worry about this coil matching with a manual GB machine such as the Vaquero. Tesoro does this balancing free of charge and if you have multiple coils they will ajust the machine to work best with them all.

I have a Cibola and bought a 5.75" concentric for it.

It works great. The combo works as well as the Cibola-stock coil does. I can super tune both to the same degree.

I'm in Central California where the soil is pretty mild over all and I love the Cibola with the 5.75" coil.
