Cibola+ 5.75 Cocentric coil= Unreal Depth!

New member
Got home tonight and put my new 5.75 cocentric coil on the Cibola. I am blown away. I hardly belive it myself so I don't blame anyone here that doubts my claims. But to prove these claims I will make a video of it. And I haven't even tuned the coil yet.

Threshold 3 o'clock / Sens. just passed red/ Disc. Iron/ 25c=11" 10c=10" 5c=11" 1c=10"

" " " " Disc Max 25c=10" 10c=8"

Just put in my first day since I got mine.
Check my update on my last post.
Quite the sensitive little coil eh?

nice to hear about that coil, I'm between that one and the widescan for my second coil

Rusty Henry talked me into getting a 5.75 concentric coil for my Vaquero. He said it would do a great job unmasking good targets in trashy areas and would lose little depth compared to the 9 x 8 stock coil. He also said this coil will easily pay for itself in increased finds . Rusty was right on all accounts. If you want good honest advice about metal detecting, give him a call. He a joy to talk with.

BTW - If you can't find his number, give me a PM.

Well I used the 5.75 today for the first time. And I live in red clay heaven.:ranting: No falsing at all. Now I did hit some coal and got a signal. But other than that the cocentric coil is awesome. I will not take it off unless at the beach or relic hunting. I just got home from detecting a new park. Been there all day. Report will follow shorlty.
