Quick hunt turned up 3 x .925 silver rings.

Does anyone know what .925 SU means?

I am really starting to warm up to my Cibola... rapidly becoming my fav MD

Now that's the way it's done. Nice going.

What were your settings and how deep were the rings?

Sensitivity on 10 , Discrim just hair below MAX - I wanted to focus on clad and silver on this hunt... seemed to really pay off :bouncy:

I had to set the Discrim high because I was in a public school play area - didn't want to dig everything. Also - the Cibola is a deep machine
..almost too deep. Hit several 10-12 inch aluminum cans...after about 5 of those - I decided to set the Discrim way high..

Those rings were between 3-7 inches..

The Cibola is a great machine - but I wish it had no motion pin pointing like the ACE. With the ACE I can almost draw a line around what is in the ground. WIth the Cibola I have to wiggle around the target to get a feel for the size. Raising the coil helps - but its not a good technique when aluminum cans deep in the ground.

To be honest - I am not sure what value Threshold really adds other than to help pin point..
